This Type I Holster (Light/Laser Bearing only) variation is fitted with a level II retention hood kit.  The hood kit is a thumb released, spring loaded retention system which prevents the weapon from being removed from the holster without depressing the thumb release.  The backside of the holster is built-up with a second 0.080″ layer of kydex to support the retention kit.   Note: If you are planning to order a magazine carrier accessory as an attachment option, ACLP’s or Speed Clip mounting is required!
